Standard-Knapp will highlight their updated 939S Pic-N- Place Case Packer and 298 Tritium™ Trayshink Packer at Pack Expo 2013, September 23-25 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Standard-Knapp’s latest enhancements to these proven solutions will be exhibited at Booth #C2727.

The 939S Pic-N- Place Case Packer offers field-proven reliability and is the perfect solution for both partitioned and partitionless case packing. The Pic-N-Place uses adjustable, heavy-duty grippers to pick up and gently place an entire pack of product completely into to bottom of every case. This proprietary technology eliminates breakage and is capable of speeds up to 30 cycles per minute. Standard Knapp’s case packer also offers tandem case capability and packs to the last case without the need for any operator intervention.  The Pic-N-Place is also available as a complete module which can be retrofitted onto existing Standard-Knapp 939S and 949S Versatron Case Packers.

The 298 Tritium Trayshrink Packer offers equally high reliability in a Tray, Pad or Unsupported configuration. What makes the 298 Tritium most innovative, however, is its high speed Robo-Wand™ wrapping module which is capable of running up to 120 trays per minute and provides a consistent tight, wrinkle-free wrap. The Robo-Wand™ also offers multi-axis control for limitless packing possibilities without the need for change parts. To ensure that the tray blank magazine doesn’t run out too quickly at this fast rate, Standard-Knapp has expanded the magazine to hold up to 3000 blanks.
