HOLT CAT, the Caterpillar equipment and engine dealer for South, Central, North and North East Texas, recently named Corinna Holt Richter as vice president, Machine Division Product Support Sales and Peter John Holt as vice president, Power Systems Division, Commercial Engine Sales.

In her new role, Corinna Holt Richter will lead a planned expansion of the company’s product support sales group to significantly drive sales in the parts and services division for continued market share growth. Richter joined HOLT in 2011 and has spent the last two years as General Parts Manager in the organization’s Machine Division. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and participated in an extensive business training program at New York University.

As vice president of Commercial Engine Sales, Peter John Holt will direct continued business success and identify growth opportunities for diesel and natural gas engines and generator sets for electrical power generation, petroleum and other applications. He is taking on this new opportunity after successfully completing a two-year assignment as general service manager in the Machine Division. Holt received a Bachelor of Arts in General Business from the University of the Incarnate Word where he earned membership in the Delta Mu Delta International Business Administration Honor Society.

A key focus for Richter and Holt will be to ensure the company’s current $80 million capital investment program and legendary customer service initiatives are successful and have a long lasting impact.  Richter and Holt, the daughter and son of HOLT CAT CEO Peter M. Holt, are fifth generation Holt family members working toward future stewardship of the business. The Holts are descendants of Benjamin Holt, who, in 1904, developed the first successful track-type tractor which he named the “Caterpillar.”
