Larson Electronics announced the release of a wheeled cart mounted explosion proof LED light designed for mobility and paint spray booth regulation compliance. The EPLC-24-2L-LED explosion proof LED light cart features a 7,680 lumen light output, a swiveling fixture assembly, and a wheeled cart for easy maneuverability around the work space.

The EPLC-24-4L-LED explosion proof LED light cart from Larson Electronics is UL listed Class 1 Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 & 2 and offers the ability to quickly and easily add light wherever it is needed. This explosion proof light cart is designed to provide the same power and light quality as a standard fixed mount LED fixture, but adds the mobility of a wheeled cart for added versatility. This light cart is ideal for paint booth applications where operators often need the ability to direct evenly distributed lighting onto irregularly shaped surfaces in order to obtain the finest finish possible. The two foot long LED light fixture on this cart is constructed from non-sparking aluminum assemblies, aluminum reflectors with a high gloss finish, and screw on end caps for easy relamping. The LED-T series 15 watt LED lamps produce more illumination per watt than standard T8 bulbs and draw only ¾ of the current.

The light cart is constructed from aluminum alloy with four solid non sparking wheels and features a swiveling fixture mount that allows users to tilt the light fixture 270° to obtain the best coverage regardless of angles. Larson Electronics also includes 50 feet of SOOW cord fitted with a straight blade explosion proof plug for ample length and safe connections. Also included is an inline explosion proof switch rated Class 1 Division 1 which allows operators to control operation while inside a hazardous area. This unit is multi-voltage capable and can operate on 120-277 volts AC. This unit is also offered in low voltage to accommodate those who need voltage on 12 and 24 volts DC.

“This wheeled cart enables operators to move a 75 pound paint spray booth light around easily and position it beside or underneath the object they are painting,” said Rob Bresnahan with Larsonelectronics.com. “Anti-static wheels, an aluminum cart construction and 50’ SOOW cord with explosion proof plug make this fixture versatile and compliant as a hazardous location lighting solution.”

Larson Electronics offers a wide array of explosion proof lighting and hazardous location lighting, paint spray booth lights, explosion proof fluorescent lights and LED paint booth lights. Larson Electronics provides a full line of industrial grade lighting suitable for any size job or location and can custom tailor lighting to the specific needs of customers. Y
