PTDA 2019 Industry Summit amplifies Industry connections in Austin

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is expecting 550 delegates in the power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) industry at the PTDA 2019 Industry Summit in Austin, Texas. Representing over 200 PTDA distributor and manufacturer companies, delegates will attend for cross-channel networking, shared learning and collaborative experiences at this year’s Industry Summit, themed “Amplify”Those registering before August 16, 2019, receive a $100 discount. 

The PTDA 2019 Industry Summit offers four keynote caliber speakers: Frank Abagnale, famed con man whose life story was told in the movie and Broadway musical, Catch Me If You Can, will tell his life story and speak on security fraud; Dennis Snow on creating a culture of service excellence; Ron Karr on changing the sales conversation; and Alan Beaulieu on the economy. As an added bonus, attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions in advance about security fraud and the economy. New for 2019 will be a panel session with Texas A&M University Industrial Distribution students who will share their perspectives on the expectations and needs they seek from an employer to provide insights to member companies on hiring this generation.  

The signature event of the PTDA Industry Summit is the Manufacturer-Distributor Idea Exchange (MD-IDEX), a time- and cost-effective forum to bring together distributor and manufacturer executives for high-level discussions on market strategies and issues. Distributor and manufacturer members alike laud MD-IDEX as one of the best face-to-face cross-channel business programs with a measurable ROI for participants.
