Venture Construction Group Director of Operations earns Outstanding Women In Construction Award

Sandra Lawson awarded prestigious honor by Construction Business Owner magazine

(VCG) and Venture Construction Group of Florida (VCGFL), was awarded the Outstanding Women in Construction Award (OWIC) by Construction Business Owner magazine. Out of hundreds of nationwide applicants, 20 finalists were selected. Nominations included women who work in the industry in the office, in the field and everywhere in between. Finalists were chosen based on their skills, leadership and management techniques, as well as their exceptional contributions to their companies, industry and communities.

Finalists work in the field of construction (general contracting, subcontracting, specialty trades and others allied to the field) in the U.S. Recipients earned prizes from participating OWIC sponsors, including a WD-40 Prize Pack and Keen Utility Boots from a new line of specially designed work boots for women.
