Increasing the versatility of its CM Universal Trolley offering, Columbus McKinnon Corporation, a designer, manufacturer and marketer of material handling products, has further expanded its CM Universal Trolley portfolio with the addition of new two-speed motorized units for optimal load control and operator safety.

The CM Universal Trolley allows a single trolley to be used with virtually all CMCO powered chain hoists up to three-ton capacities, helping to reduce inventory costs for end users and alleviate stock constraints at distributorships. Trolleys are available as convertible plain units, geared units for precise hoist positioning or motorized units designed for applications requiring high cycling and long-distance hoist travel.

Expanding the CM Universal Trolley offering, our new two-speed motorized models are designed to provide gentler starts, enable greater load positioning accuracy and minimize load swing. Two-speed models feature a 4:1 speed ratio with speeds of 15/4, 35/9 and 75/19 FPM. Units also feature threephase single voltage and a weather-proof NEMA 3R control box enclosure. The CM Universal Trolley is competitively priced and engineered for maximum versatility and long service life.

Features of the CM Universal Trolley include:

• Easy adjustability to a wide range of beam flange widths

• Wheels with permanently lubricated shielded ball bearings for long life and low maintenance

• Wrap-around side plates, drop lugs and pinned suspension bolts for increased operator safety

• Zinc-plated components for protection against wear and corrosion

• Lifetime warranty Motorized units feature an easy-access control box that allows the entire cover to be removed for quick access to key components. The control box case also has a white background for increased visibility when wiring up the panel or adjusting controls. The electrical panel on motorized units can be used as a tool tray to hold items when repairing or servicing the hoist.
