On Saturday, August 29th, TVH in the Americas (TVH) hosted their second employee event of the year at their various locations. The event was Back to School themed with a variety of games and crafts, as well as a raffle to raise money for each location’s local Boys and Girls Club.
TVH routinely hosts events throughout the year for employees and their families to attend. This event was to celebrate the end of summer and the start of the school year. Every child that attended received a gift bag full of school related items including a drawstring backpack, a ruler, a pencil bag, a pencil sharpener, an eraser and two pencils. TVH also provided the parents a Child ID card for each child in attendance. Everyone enjoyed the opportunity to not only bring their families together but to help out a good cause.
TVH held a raffle for employees at each location to see which lucky employees would win a backpack stuffed with school supplies. The proceeds along with the company match from the raffle are going to each location’s local Boys and Girls Club. This raffle raised over $1,000 in donations and was matched for a total donation of over $2,000 . The left over gift bags were also donated to the local Boys and Girls Club.
