Nissan Forklift Corporation announced J.M. Equipment of Manteca, Calif., the winner of its prestigious President’s Award for the previous year. Introduced in 1990, the President’s Award pays special recognition to a single Nissan Forklift dealership that embodies the essential characteristics found in the most accomplished organizations today. The President’s Award is earned by the dealership that reaches the highest tier of success in new equipment and parts sales, market share and service excellence. It represents Nissan Forklift’s highest honor and most challenging achievement. Audie Burgan, one of J.M. Equipment’s six owner principals, accepted the award during a dinner hosted by Nissan Forklift to celebrate its top nine Nissan Forklift dealerships. “Many factors contributed to J.M. Equipment’s selection to receive this top honor,” explained Peter Kruse, president, Nissan Forklift Corporation. “Among them is that this organization achieved unprecedented growth across all areas of the company, including new equipment sales, service and aftermarket.” Kruse also detailed that J.M. Equipment’s success is greatly attributed to the dedication of its employees – many of whom include family members working side by side to make the company what it is today. “J.M. Equipment is proud to receive this award again,” said Audie Burgan, owner principal at J.M. Equipment. “Our mission is to provide our customers with quick, efficient service from every department and every employee. This award is proof that we’re accomplishing our mission.” Driven by passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience, J.M. Equipment’s walls celebrate this culture with awards that offer tribute to them, including 18 Gold Service Excellence awards across its three locations, and 21 Nissan Nine Awards. “This represents J.M. Equipment’s fourth President’s Award,” remarked Kruse. “They are an impressive dealership and we are proud to honor them with this award.”
