Accellos announced the launch of a new white paper, “Warehouse Management Systems for 3PL Providers.” The white paper addresses the five drivers that affect the decision making process for 3PL providers when looking for a warehouse management system.   The paper also outlines the differences between purpose-built and retrofit WMS solutions for 3PL providers.  Key discussion areas in the paper include inventory integrity, customer service enablement, concurrent client logistics, revenue assurance and factors beyond the four walls of the warehouse. “We are happy to provide this whitepaper to the 3PL community as a tool to help them evaluate the right WMS for their needs,” said Joe Couto, Accellos Senior Vice President.  “We believe strongly that a system purpose-built for the needs of 3PL’s is much better suited to ensure operational efficiency and revenue assurance for a multi-client 3PL provider.”
