UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) grows its team in Mexico by appointing Ernesto Duran to regional sales manager and Carlos Ricardo Ebel-Fonseca to regional aftermarket manager.

As regional sales manager, Ernesto Duran is responsible for managing sales and dealer networks in Mexico, maintaining an open channel of communication between UCA and its dealer networks, project, inventory and retail follow-ups, support in aftermarket needs, development of dealer sales work plans and providing market information.

Duran has more than 10 years of sales experience. He was previously a sales manager for Ameco and a regional manager for the Holcim. Duran earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. He currently lives in Mexico City with his wife and two children.

As a regional aftermarket manager, Carlos Ricardo Ebel-Fonseca is responsible for parts goals and increasing UCMEX parts sales through dealer network activities, improving dealer-specific issues, providing dealer training on UCMEX/UCA processes and systems wherever needed and tracking dealer participation and works to improve relationships by making regular dealer calls to improve dealer engagement and participations in UCMEX parts.

Prior to joining UCA, Ebel-Fonseca was a parts manager, service manager and an aftermarket manager for Transportes y gruas Auriga. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Queretaro. Ebel-Fonseca currently lives in Queretaro, Mexico, with his wife and son.

“Ernesto and Carlos are fine additions to our growing sales team in Mexico,” said James J. Radous III, Executive Vice President of Americas sales for UCA. “Both aim to motivate UCA’s dealers and representatives while positioning our brand as having the best value in the market.”
