Long Reach restructures and expands sales organization for future growth

Cecil D’Antignac, recently-named Vice President of Long Reach Sales at Allied Systems Company, announced personnel changes and additions in a major sales reorganization.

Streamlining the quoting and development process is a priority, D’Antignac explained. To that end, Lisa Turner has been promoted to Manager of Development for the Long Reach product line. Turner will be responsible for automating the quoting process, managing the inside sales support group, forecasting and driving product development plans. Turner reports directly to Cecil D’Antignac.

Turner was most recently supervising engineer of Long Reach product design. This promotion puts her in a unique position to apply her deep knowledge of both the attachment market and the Long Reach product line to provide customer-focused innovation.

To spread the message of Long Reach’s service, value and custom design, D’Antignac has also restructured the sales territory borders and brought on some new faces to round out his existing team:

Don Walden, a 25-year veteran of the material handling industry will take over D’Antignac’s Southeastern region for Long Reach, covering Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, and Mississippi. Don’s experience has been dealership-level field sales management in the material handling industry.

Matt Halloran hands off the South Central region to Richard Defenbaugh, and moves to the Mid East region, taking the reins from retiring Glenn Toy. Halloran’s territory now covers Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Ontario, Canada.

Richard Defenbaugh brings his 30 years of experience in forklifts and OEM attachments to the South Central region, which includes Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Colorado, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Ken Welter will continue to manage the Mid West region of North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois.

Henry Cerwinski continues to devote himself to the North East region territory, from Virginia to Maine, and including Canada’s eastern seaboard.

Dan Embry maintains the Latin American region, from Mexico to South America.

D’Antignac has placed the new Western territory of California, Nevada, Utah, and Arizona under Nick Parotino’s management. Parotino dedicates six years of experience representing OEM attachments and fork manufacturing to growing sales in this new territory.
