Betts Company, manufacturing of heavy duty transportation products, has announced the appointment of Dan Flores as the company’s new controller.

Flores will report to Betts Company president Bill Betts, who said, “Dan’s broad experience in finance, planning, and purchasing uniquely qualify him for this position. He will be a valuable asset to our management team as he assists in positioning us for future growth. I am thrilled to welcome him to Betts Company.”

Flores has more than 12 years of accounting, purchasing and administration experience. In his new role at Betts Company, Flores will manage the finance department, general ledger, audits, and cost and account trade.

Previously as controller at Dayka & Hackett LLC, a worldwide produce importer/shipper, Flores led the management of accounting, purchasing and administration. Flores holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Fresno.
