New trade deal will make the USA a safer place

SumoGlove International Ltd (Sumo) – the UK-based producer of forklift safety equipment – has announced the appointment of BWS Industrial Services Inc (BWS ISI) as its distribution partner for the East Coast of the USA. BWS ISI will be responsible for growing sales of the Sumo Glove brand of lift truck fork attachments in an area that stretches from the Canadian border in the north to the Florida coast in the south of the USA.

BWS ISI is a family-owned and operated company and is well respected for delivering effective services and solutions that meet the wide material handling needs of its extensive client base. “We are delighted to be working with BWS ISI and look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship between our two businesses,” said Sumo’s principal, Simon Ross.

William Williams, owner and president of BWS ISI, commented: “As soon as I saw the Sumo Glove its potential to reduce stock damage and improve the safety of warehouse and distribution center personnel was obvious.” He continued: “We believe that our customers will respond positively to the benefits that the product brings to any materials handling process where forklifts play a role.”

In simple terms, Sumo Gloves are fitted to the tips of a lift truck’s forks to provide a protective cover that limits the impact of a carelessly driven forklift against a load. And, by dramatically slashing the damage caused to palletized loads, the Gloves contribute significantly towards a safer workplace. Sumo Gloves have already been deployed by a number of global companies at numerous sites across the USA with outstanding results.

As part of its agreement with Sumo, BWS ISI will appoint dealer partners to help to drive further sales of the Sumo Glove forklift truck attachments. “We believe that lift truck dealers or even individuals with sales experience and contacts within their local forklift user market can not fail to enjoy success with the Sumo Glove,” says William Williams.
