Crown Equipment Corporation, one of the world’s largest material handling companies, announced the opening of a new sales and service location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The facility will help the company meet growing customer needs in Northeast Indiana, including the Fort Wayne and South Bend areas, and a portion of Southwest Michigan.

Situated at 9110 Avionics Drive near the Fort Wayne International Airport, the Crown Lift Trucks location offers customers a complete selection of material handling technologies, products and services. This includes award-winning forklifts, warehouse design solutions, Integrity Parts and Service System^™, automation technology and Crown’s wireless InfoLink^® fleet and operator management system. The location also offers a variety of dock and door products, including dock bridges, levelers, seals and shelters.

“Our customer base has continued to expand along with the general region since we opened our first location in 1989,” said Troy Boyer, branch manager. “This new, expanded facility will give us the space we need to provide our customers with the level of service and quality products they expect to meet their evolving needs. The facility’s new product and technology demonstration center enables visitors to experience new forklifts and technology first hand within different material handling scenarios.” 

The Fort Wayne sales and service location has previously earned Crown’s Summit Award. This recognition is bestowed upon company-owned branches and independent dealers that exceeded performance criteria and demonstrate a commitment to providing customers with the right material handling equipment and technology to help control costs, improve safety and enhance energy efficiency.
