CLARK Material Handling Company announces appointment of TJ Shelters as Director of Sales and Marketing

CLARK Material Handling Company, a top-ten global manufacturer of forklift trucks and spare parts, announces the appointment of TJ Shelters as Director of Sales and Marketing. In this role, Shelters will oversee the sales and marketing activities and the associated support teams in Lexington, KY related to new truck and aftermarket sales. He will report to Dennis Lawrence, president and chief executive officer of CLARK Material Handling Company.

“TJ brings a wealth of material handling industry knowledge and sales experience. He understands the products, the sales experience, and the needs of end-customers,” commented Lawrence. “Through his direction, we look to increase CLARK sales and brand awareness while developing an even deeper engagement with our entire dealer organization.”

As a leader in the material handling industry, Shelters brings with him a wealth of experience in account management, team building, and sales planning & management. In his new role, he will coordinate efforts between manufacturing and engineering to deliver solutions that meet the needs of both dealerships and end customers.

“In my previous roles and throughout my career, I’ve worked closely with sales and channel partners to deliver solutions that benefit both the OEM and the Dealer. I’m both excited and humbled to take on this new challenge with CLARK,” said Shelters. “With the ‘Built to Last’ legacy, a multitude of new products soon to be rolled out, and a wide array of new programs coming soon for dealers, CLARK is well-positioned to lead the industry.”
