JLG’s Director of Supply Chain Solutions recognized with SDCE’s Distinguished “Pros to Know” Award

Recognized for efforts to keep supply chain healthy in times of crisis

JLG Industries, Inc., an Oshkosh Corporation company and global manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) and telehandlers, announces that Eric Zawilinski, director of supply chain solutions for JLG, has received the Supply and Demand Chain Executive 2021 Pros to Know Award. According to SDCE magazine, winners of this year’s award received recognition for their efforts to keep the supply chains afloat in times of crisis.

Zawilinski is an experienced supply chain leader in the company’s Access segment with skills in logistics, procurement, material management, and large-scale transformation projects. Throughout his career, Zawilinski has focused on reducing cost, removing waste, and transforming the supply chain. “The recent COVID-19 pandemic was a major challenge for JLG,” says Zawilinski. “We have an international supply chain that was drastically impacted by mandatory shutdowns, labor availability, and component shortages. Managing the risk this presented to our manufacturing operations, as well as to upholding equipment delivery commitments to our customers, was a top priority last year.”

As JLG continues to work with its global supply chain, professionals like Zawilinski, play an important role in the company’s ability to support its customers around the world. “Through Eric’s leadership, our Access segment has effectively and efficiently managed our supply chains, which has led to increased performance in parts availability and reduced logistics costs for the company and our customers,” says Chris Jarvis, aftermarket vice president, JLG.

Jarvis continues, “We depend on Eric and his team to provide solutions to our customers and internal stakeholders. They consistently deliver solutions that create success across all areas of the business. We thank this team for all their hard work last year, and congratulate Eric on receiving the Supply & Demand Chain Executive Pros to Know award!”

Zawilinski graduated from Central Michigan University with a BSBA with dual majors in Logistics and Marketing, and he is in the process of earning his Master of Business Administration from Frostburg State University. Zawilinski is a Certified Supply Chain Professional and a Certified Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution Professional.
