Workers at the mold manufacturing facility required assistance to safely flip and position a variety of heavy molds. Uni-Craft designed a custom Pass-Through Upender with Shuttle to “upend” the molds providing a safer and more secure method to flip, rotate, and reposition molds for further assembly.
Uni-Craft’s Pass-Through Upender with Shuttle features two independently controlled platforms, which enable them to articulate with higher precision while supporting and positioning products for safe assembly. The platforms can lay 180° flat for products to simply “pass-through” processing and can also tilt up to 95°. Extra product support and security are essential for heavy, round, or odd-shaped objects such as molds. Uni-Craft mounted a v-shaped Shuttle to one of the platforms, adding a cradling effect to ensure stable object positioning and repositioning.
