Akro-Mils announces that Doug Trasatt has been named Director of Sales and Marketing. In his new position, Doug Trasatt oversees all sales, marketing and communications initiatives for Akro-Mils, which is based in Akron, Ohio and designs and manufactures a wide range of plastic storage bins and containers, metal shelving and rack systems, and mobile material handling systems sold through industrial, healthcare, retail and commercial distributors. Prior to joining Akro-Mils, Doug Trasatt was Sales and Marketing Manager for Katy Industries, Inc. in Bridgeton, Mo., a manufacturer and distributor of commercial cleaning products sold primarily to janitorial/sanitary and food service distributors. At Katy Industries, he was responsible for industrial and OEM channel sales and marketing in the United States and Canada. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Illinois. Doug Trasatt and his family will be relocating from O’Fallon, Mo., to the Akron area.
