The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) have ranked CLARK Material Handling Company – a top-ten global manufacture of forklift trucks and spare parts – as one of the BEST PLACES TO WORK in KENTUCKY for 2020!

This marks the third time CLARK has earned the BEST PLACE to WORK in KENTUCKY designation, with previous recognition in 2013 and 2019.

This designation applies to both of CLARK’s Kentucky facilities: their American Headquarters and manufacturing plant in Lexington, and, their state-of-the-art parts distribution center in Louisville.

Following a rigorous selection process, managed by the Chamber and KYSHRM, the recognition of CLARK as one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky exemplifies the company’s “Built to Last”
philosophy.

“For over 100 years CLARK has been known in the material handling industry as employing the most knowledgeable, highest quality and overall BEST people in the industry. Our employees are the reason that CLARK is a Best Place to Work,” said Dennis Lawrence, President & CEO.

“This recognition is particularly meaningful because it’s based primarily on feedback received directly from our employees. Our employees and our culture are the heartbeat of CLARK. As CLARK
continues to grow, we will continue to foster a workplace environment built on employee commitment, teamwork, integrity, corporate citizenship and the pursuit of excellence,” added Sherry Myers, Human Resources Manager.

This statewide program, created in 2004, identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Kentucky. The Best Places to Work in Kentucky Initiative is based on FORTUNE
Magazine’s “100 Best companies to work for in America” list.
