Design Storage and Hubtex deepen their partnership

German Forklift Manufacturer, HUBTEX, purchases 50% interest in North American Distributor, Design Storage & Handling, Inc.

For over 30 years, Design Storage & Handling (DSH) has provided successful material handling solutions for some of North America’s most demanding applications.

As the exclusive U.S. distributor of HUBTEX industrial vehicles, the partnership has deepened effective January 2021. DSH owner and president, Rob Alling, has sold a 50-percent stake in his company to HUBTEX. Alling will continue to oversee DSH business operations in the role of President.

DSH is renowned for providing the world’s largest and most comprehensive range of long and oversized load handling equipment for U.S. industries ranging from aerospace, automotive, and energy, to glass, metal, plastic building, and roll handling.

In addition to industrial side loaders, forklifts, and trucks, DSH provides intralogistics solutions including warehouse design and optimization, racking systems, plus an after-sale, a nationwide rapid-response network of service technicians supported by a massive, $2.5 million inventory of vehicle parts. Add to this DSH service technicians are trained at the German HUBTEX headquarters to guarantee an unparalleled level of customer service.

Working together, DSH and HUBTEX can further expand upon their excellent reputation for providing innovative and customized handling solutions engineered for the specific needs of the North American industries it serves.
