Five reasons why people love Marcus Lemonis

The name “Marcus Lemonis” did not ring a bell when I first learned that he would be a featured keynote speaker at ProMat 2019. Of course, I immediately did what most elder millennials like myself would do and googled the name. The more research I did, the more I realized that I must live under a rock! How have I not heard of him before? Marcus Lemonis is a self-made billionaire and is widely recognized for his hit CNBC reality series, “The Profit.” He has a large fan base and is admired for more than his TV personality.

Here are five reasons I found why people love Marcus Lemonis.

1. He is the symbol of true entrepreneurism

Lemonis started from humble beginnings growing up in Miami, FL. As a young child, he was exposed to positive and prosperous business values at his family-owned auto dealership. Lemonis was able to achieve the American Dream through hard work, determination and believing.

2. He has been a huge agent of change for the RV industry as CEO of Camping World

Lemonis became CEO of Camping World and was recognized for having “more impact on the industry than any single individual or company in recent memory as an agent of change and retail consolidation,” when RV Business Magazine named him their 2007 Newsmaker of the Year.

3. He is the star of  CNBC’s “The Profit”

Now a recent nominee for the 2018 Critic’s Choice Award for Best Structured Reality Series for his work on CNBC’s The Profit, Lemonis lends his business expertise to struggling businesses in various industries across the country.

4. He is 100 percent brutally honest

While many people frequently call him the “business turnaround king,” he will be the first to say that he really helps people with tough love so they can use the experience to inevitably succeed.

5. He simplifies business success through three key principles: people, product, and process

Marcus lends his business expertise to struggling businesses in various industries across the country while using his famous People-Process-Product principle. Through his 3P mantra, he analyzes every business by the quality people, whether they have an excellent and relevant product, and the best possible process for creating, delivering, and selling that product.

Whether you are like me and are just learning about Lemonis or if you have been a fan for years, I’m positive you will enjoy hearing him speak at ProMat 2019. Lemonis will discuss The Three Keys to Business Success – People, Process, Profit and inspire you as he shares his strategies to implementing these principles into your organization to drive growth, elevate the customer experience and improve business processes.
