Hannibal Industries’ Houston facility to reopen after Labor Day weekend

After the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey to the people of Southeast Texas, Hannibal Industries is grateful to announce that their Houston, Texas Hannibal South facility will be fully operational again on September 5.

General Manager of Hannibal’s Houston facility, Ryan Peck, said, “We at Hannibal are so proud to be part of a community of people who put differences aside to come together and help each other in the toughest of times.  We are especially proud of our teammates at Hannibal who, despite their own loses, are actively working in the community to begin the process of recovery.”

Hannibal Industries closed its Hannibal South facility in Houston on August 25 in deference to employee safety and in order to give them time to prepare for the effects of Hurricane Harvey.  Hannibal planned to keep the facility closed and inactive until conditions were safe to return to operation.  The safety of Hannibal Industries’ employees is paramount, and the company stayed in active communication with its employees throughout the storm. All of Hannibal’s employees are accounted for and are both safe and secure.

Hannibal Industries has donated to the American Red Cross, Save the Children, as well as select local groups to support the relief effort. Anyone else interested in helping may donate to the American Red Cross or Save the Children here: http://www.redcross.org or http://www.savethechildren.org.
