Returnity CEO, Michael Newman, is set to speak on PACK EXPO’s retail market panel, which will be moderated by Tim Debus, President & CEO of the Reusable Packaging Association. The panel – focused on the retail market as a whole – will take place on Tuesday, October 16, from 1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Returnity is a provider in reusable shipping packaging, designing and manufacturing boxes and bags that are disrupting the wasteful, expensive, and environmentally harmful $66 billion a year shipping packaging market. Returnity helps companies, including thredUP, Happy Returns, Virco, For Days, Rebag, Sandow, and SweatStyle eliminate defunct cardboard boxes and poly mailer bags. Their solutions can reduce packaging expenses by more than 50 percent, providing a financial return, improved user experience, and significant reductions in resource consumption.

“We at Returnity are honored to be a part of such an important conversation, at the most comprehensive packaging event in the world. Shipping packaging is expensive and wasteful,” said Michael Newman, CEO, Returnity. “After 18 months of design, prototyping, and engagement with more than 30 companies, we have completed a live proof-of-concept deployment in the field.  We think disrupting the shipping packaging market starts with inter- and intra-company shipping, which we call B3B.  Our solutions are guaranteed for 40 shipments and pay for themselves after 15 shipments.  At the end of their lifespan, the bags and boxes are then recyclable. We are passionate about the future of reusable packaging and I look forward to sharing our insights at PACK EXPO.”
