QComp provides robotic packaging systems, material handling systems and automation line integration to clients in the food, glass, solar, consumer products, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper and metals industries

QComp Technologies, a robotic systems integrator, is beginning a 10,000-square-foot addition to its production facility in Greenville, Wis. The expansion, which is scheduled for completion this fall, is in response to an increase in demand for its robotic automation systems in the United States and Canada from new and existing clients.

To meet current and future demand, QComp is continuing to add automation and applications engineers and electrical and installation technicians. QComp is a 100% employee owned ESOP company and currently has 40 team members.

QComp provides robotic packaging systems, material handling systems and automation line integration to clients in the food, glass, solar, consumer products, pharmaceutical, plastics, paper and metals industries.
“As the labor shortage continues, more companies are investing in robotic automation to meet their ‘hands-on’ assembly, production and packaging needs,” says Mark Wild, executive vice president, OwnersEdge Inc. “Over the years, we’ve established a reputation as a leader that delivers robust, custom-engineered automation solutions to our clients.”

Mark Wild, Executive VP OwnersEdge

Wild was named executive vice president of CC&N, QComp Technologies and TourGuide Solutions in November 2018. All three businesses are part of OwnersEdge Inc., an ESOP holding company in Waukesha, Wis., that has five affiliates – Baycom Inc., CC&N, QComp Technologies, Rhino Communication Rentals and TourGuide Solutions. As an Owners Edge business and under the guidance of Wild, QComp has implemented a strategic planning process to drive growth.

Before joining OwnersEdge, Wild was vice president of the specialty business unit at Elgin Fastener Group, a $120 million manufacturer and importer of standard and specialty fasteners for a diverse set of end-use markets. Prior to his leadership position at Elgin Fastener Group, Wild spent 17 years with Charter Manufacturing.
