Swift Industrial Power, headquartered in Knoxville, Tenn., has announced the acquisition of the battery/charger division of Tampa, Fla.-based, Flood Power Inc. Swift Industrial Power is one of the nation’s largest independent stored energy solutions providers and will be adding the customers of Flood Power to its pre-existing business base in Central Florida.
“Flood Power has been in business for many years and we’re excited to have the opportunity to build upon the relationships they have developed,” said Mike Swift, President of Swift Industrial Power. “Our team is focused on making this transition as smooth and seamless as possible for all involved.”
The acquisition expands and grows the 52-year-old company’s commitment to the Sunshine State where it has three locations – Jacksonville, Lakeland and Fort Lauderdale. Swift has five additional locations in Alabama and Tennessee.
