TVH in the Americas (TVH), a provider of quality replacement parts and accessories for the material handling and equipment industries, recently had several employees participate in a volunteer event at Center of Grace on June 27, 2018. This volunteer event was coordinated by TVHCares, TVH’s charitable program that encourages employees to get involved and make an impact in our communities.
Center of Grace’s mission is to reach out to the most vulnerable in our community through a variety of services. One of which is providing a free meal twice a week, year round. Anyone in need is welcome to come and enjoy a hot meal. TVH has committed to three dates throughout 2018 to not only supply the food but, prepare and serve the food as well.
“It is truly an eye opening experience and gives you a good feeling when you leave knowing that because of you, those people will not go hungry that night,” Rachel Lindsey, Business Development Sales Analyst commented.
Through the TVHCares program, employees have the opportunity to work with many non-profit organizations and charities, such as Center of Grace. The final Center of Grace volunteer opportunity of 2018 will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
