The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) has announced that PACCAR has renewed its Gold Level Partnership for 2025. This valuable partnership reflects PACCAR’s commitment to the association’s mission to continue to empower women to develop careers in the transportation industry, promote their accomplishments, and minimize the obstacles they face.
The company has been a Gold Level Partner since 2019 and has routinely been a high-level sponsor of the Accelerate! Conference & Expo. Armida Gonzalez, assistant plant manager of Peterbilt Motors, is serving her first year on the WIT Board of Directors.
“Our continued partnership with the Women In Trucking Association is a testament to PACCAR’s commitment to support and empower women to thrive in the trucking industry,” said Gonzalez. “I’m excited to serve on the WIT Board and contribute to their ongoing success and help pave the way for increased opportunities, growth and inclusion.”

“We would like to express our sincere appreciation of PACCAR’s commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the transportation sector,” said Jennifer Hedrick, CAE, president and CEO of WIT. “Their steadfast support allows us to broaden opportunities for women in the trucking industry and enhances the effectiveness of our mission. In collaboration, we are driving progress and fostering a more inclusive future.”
Founded in 2007, the Women In Trucking Association is a resource for more than 8,000 corporate and individual members located in the United States, Canada and Mexico, as well as Japan, Australia, Sweden, South Africa, and New Zealand. Recent accomplishments include: releasing the 2024-25 WIT Index, the industry barometer to regularly benchmark and measure the percentage of women who make up critical roles in transportation, which had approximately 350 company participants; hosting 7,400 participants in the WITney® Educational Trailer throughout 40 events in 26 states; honoring 200-plus leaders in transportation through several recognition programs; and more than 2,000 registered attendees at the 2024 Accelerate!
