ACCU-DART brings real-time functionality to supply chain operations with Android, iOS devices

The success of the 2015 ACCU-DART for iOS created greater demand for the same solution for Android – and now ACCU-DART, a leading provider of integrated warehouse logistics and supply chain management solutions, announces the availability of their unique inventory control solution for Android too.

The Android option will enable a greater range of devices for manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers using radio-frequency scanners for inventory control in the warehouse setting. These users benefit from the efficiency and real-time ERP integration that ACCU-DART delivers, and it supports their connection with hardware devices and warehouses anywhere in the world.  The Android version has the same superior functionality as the iOS release, and warehouses can now use both operating systems in the same space.

The shift toward mobile devices is changing the way warehouse operations work, as wholesalers and manufacturers – and retail users too – demand greater accuracy and the improved availability of easily supported bar code scanning solutions. ACCU-DART’s inventory control solution lets warehouse staff work with devices they are already familiar with, while also allowing for multiple warehouse applications to be run from the same devices to deliver the flexibility and timeliness for customers and employees.

“The issues are common in the industry, and it’s an industry that looks to us to solve the problems,” said Irwin Ash, president and CEO of ACCU-DART. “There are costly operational delays to be avoided, there is inventory control data synchronization that the business depends on, and people need the tools that make for a seamless process across the entire chain. We created ACCU-DART, and the Android version, to eliminate all the bottlenecks and make the critical customer end experience a priority for our clients.”

A key advantage with both the Android and iOS mobile devices is familiarity with the interface and its ready adoption, because that’s what delivers the goods across the supply chain. The data accuracy is reflected in better ordering and stocking, improved accuracy in invoicing and incentive payments, and affords the visibility into the entire sales channel that begins with good warehouse inventory data. That familiarity is enhanced by ACCU-DART’s multilingual support for companies operating around the globe.

ACCU-DART integrates directly and in real time with Sage 300 ERP and AccountMate software, and will soon be available for Sage X3 ERP and Acumatica. As opposed to older batch systems, ACCU-DART validates and enters data directly into the ERP system in real time for improved accuracy.

Also available for iOS are ruggedized iPhone/iPad cases such as the iPC Linea Pro 6, which include an integrated 1D/2D scanner, the iPhone and iPod is now able to withstand harsh industrial environments.

The real-time interaction, reduced error rate and faster order processing brought by bar code based inventory control systems delivers better sales per employee over systems that do not use bar codes in the warehouse, as well as better ROI. Bar code users also report a decrease in manufacturing costs and cycle time.
