ASAP Systems Barcode-Based Asset Tracking and Inventory System creates efficiency and improves productivity for the Lake Monticello Fire Department by providing multiple features that offer effective inventory and asset management processes

ASAP Systems, a provider in Inventory System and Asset Tracking has come to the rescue of the Lake Monticello Fire Department by ensuring they can effectively track equipment and inventory, anytime and from anywhere.

The Lake Monticello Fire Department provides 365 days of around the clock emergency services to Lake Monticello and the surrounding county. With rapidly changing inventory and equipment needs, the department turned to our easy to use Asset Tracking and Inventory System for help with their inventory and asset management needs.

With disappearing items and the need to better track equipment and gear, the LMFD required a system that could effectively manage asset tracking and inventory control. Our Cloud-Based Asset Tracking and Inventory System provides the firefighters and staff the ability to easily check out/in equipment as needed, better maintain accurate inventory levels, and the ability to generate custom reports to enhance productivity. Mark Novak, a LMFD representative explains, “BarCloud is assisting us to have one source to track and implement equipment needs and maintenance of our trucks.”

Our Cloud-Based Asset Tracking and Inventory System was able to offer the LMFD a solution that allowed them to save time and money through better visibility and control of their assets and inventory. With accurate inventory information, the department was able to make more strategic purchases when it came to maintaining appropriate inventory levels. In addition to the immediate benefits offered by our Inventory and Asset Tracking System, the LMFD also recognized the ability of our solution to offer continued support in the future. Novak comments, “This will assist us with long term forecasting our equipment needs for budgeting purposes. We will also have one data source to go to rather than having to look through varies files and old records. We will now have one system to pull reports and data from as our needs and staff changes.”

Proving that even our heroes need help sometimes, our Cloud and Barcode-Based Asset Tracking and Inventory System is and will continue to provide support to the Lake Monticello Fire Department.
