Hitachi America, Ltd., Industrial Components & Equipment Division, announced the addition of 400V class inverters to the NE-S1 series. Hitachi America, Ltd. is pleased to offer these economical and simple to use inverters in the popular HP range of 1/2 to 3 HP with availability in late October. With its ultra-compact design, the new 400V class NE-S1, like the 200Vclass, is designed with both OEMs and System Integrators needs in mind.

With popular preconfigured and simple default settings, the NE-S1 400V class variable frequency drive offers end users and integrators the ability to use the control as is right out of the box. As with its 200V class counterparts, the NE-S1 400V class variable frequency drive has a wide variety of options available that can be used to configure the control for specific applications. These powerfulpre-configured inverters allow for the use of remote mounted speed potentiometers, contacts or switches, and for preset speed selections to be used without any parameter changes, thus saving time during the installation and integration process. This simplified installation adds value to the OEM and system integrators’ overall final products.

Another important new option available on the 400V class NE-S1 inverters is a full keypad, complete with built in speed potentiometer,  making the NE-S1 a versatile option for distributors  who use MRO applications.

High volume applications will benefit from the use of our downloadable ProDriveNext software to configure the inverter for further flexibility. The NE-S1 allows end users to choose the level of customization required that best fits their application.

Other sophisticated features and options are available including:  pre-configured parameters, optional field installed operator display,3 wire Start Stop compatible,RS-485 Modbus RTU standard, logic and time delay functions built in, energy saving function standard, CE/UL/cUL/c-Tick approvals, optional door mounted display, loss of signal protection and Sink or Source input compatible.
