JDA Software Group, Inc., announced key enhancements to its industry-leading JDA Warehouse Management solution, a fundamental part of the company’s Intelligent Fulfillment strategy.  JDA Intelligent Fulfillment better enables customers to meet the demands of today’s omni-channel environment, decreasing time-to-value and expediting the returns management process that can drain retailers’ profits.  Delivering an innovative user experience with rich mobile capabilities, JDA Warehouse Management presents the right information at the right time to the right user through persona-based control towers for proactive management of the warehouse’s operation.  This ease-of-use is essential to manage the velocity of today’s omni-channel warehouse operations.  Users can address the most pressing warehouse issues through intuitive workflows, while staying connected to the overall performance of the warehouse’s operations through the control tower’s intelligent interface.

This release of JDA Warehouse Management also delivers faster time-to-value to customers through an enhanced JDA Configuration Manager.  User friendly, prescriptive workflows deliver faster implementations, simplified process changes and easier onboarding.  The Configuration Manager aids users in handling the complexity of the warehouse without losing any of the sophisticated business logic required to support today’s complex warehouse operations requirements.

Omni-channel retailing causes an exponential increase in returns volume.  All too often returns linger in the supply chain and are destined to be sold at a loss, if at all.  These volume and cost implications have an enormous impact on warehouse operations and ultimately corporate profits.  This release of JDA Warehouse Management  delivers key capabilities to expedite returns tracking, routing,  processing and the disposition of returns inventory to reduce the time that it takes for an item to go from a return to sellable inventory, preserving profits and enabling additional opportunities to satisfy customer demand.

“JDA’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions to our customers’ rapidly evolving challenges is evident in this release of JDA’s Warehouse Management,” said Scott Zickert, Senior Director of Product Management at JDA Software.  “This re-visioned, mobile user experience breaks the tether to a workstation and empowers users through role-based control towers to flexibly respond to business demands in and outside of the facility.  Additionally, this release delivers optimized returns capabilities to streamline the ever-increasing returns volumes that customers are facing.”

“Omni-channel operations are an evolving art and JDA is at the forefront of helping customers to profitably meet the expectations of an increasingly fickle customer base,” said Fab Brasca, Vice President of Solutions Strategy at JDA Software.  “As a cornerstone of JDA’s Intelligent Fulfillment offering, the enhancements in this version of JDA’s Warehouse Management solutions enable our customers to thrive in the hyper-connected omni-channel world by providing the power to quickly adapt to changes and optimize and execute the right inventory, at the right location, at the right time.”
