JLG innovates low-level access with new 1230P Model

Expanded family, expanded possibilities for indoor work

JLG Industries, Inc. has introduces the all-new JLG® 1230P push-around lift. Designed to provide superior reach, support safety and increase efficiency, the 1230P is the latest innovation in JLG’s growing line of low-level access products. Alongside the introduction of the 1230P, JLG has made significant updates across its entire low-level access line, including to its 830P and 1030P push-around lifts and non-powered EcoLift™ 50 and EcoLift 70 models. This line-wide upgrade reinforces JLG’s commitment to operator safety, productivity, and ease of use.

Introducing the JLG 1230P: Reaching a New Height in Low-Level Access

Designed to provide a productive and cost-effective alternative to traditional ladders and scaffolding, the JLG 1230P sets a new benchmark for push-around lifts. It offers a working height of 17-ft 4-in, has a 440-lb platform capacity and provides 360-degree, hands-free access to overhead work areas, enabling operators to complete tasks at height efficiently and comfortably while minimizing fatigue. 

Key features of the 1230P include:

  • Work Platform: Vertical rail system for added protection
  • Auto-lock brakes: Engaged upon elevation for improved stability
  • Compact footprint: 28-in x 33.5-in platform, ideal for tight workspaces and 
  • Maneuverable design: Easily fits through most doorways and freight elevators
  • Enhanced maneuverability: Easy-lock caster wheels with better swivel for fast positioning

Rated for one operator in the platform, the JLG 1230P has a lightweight design, weighing less than 1,000-lb, and low ground-bearing pressure, making it an ideal option when working on sensitive floors.

Upgrades to the Entire JLG Low-Level Access Line

With a focus on durability, maneuverability and user experience, JLG has made a series of improvements to its push-around and non-powered lifts, making them even more practical for a variety of applications. These updates reinforce JLG’s commitment to offering alternatives that reduce reliance on ladders while enhancing safety and productivity.

Notable improvements include:

  • Ergonomic steel platforms: Easier access, better grip and increased durability
  • Punched platform holes: Enhanced visibility, drainage and airflow
  • Upgraded vertical rails (excluding the 1030P): Added protection for operators at height
  • Improved casters: Easier locking, unlocking and maneuverability
  • Auto-lock brakes: Standard on all push-around models for increased stability
