Kardex and Paccurate partner to revolutionize warehouse automation at ProMat 2025

Appearing at ProMat 2025, a manufacturing and supply chain show, next week, Kardex Solutions and Paccurate have announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming warehouse efficiency through the integration of intelligent cartonization into Kardex’s FulfillX software ecosystem. The collaboration combines Kardex’s warehouse automation expertise with Paccurate’s advanced packaging optimization technology to reduce shipping costs, minimize material waste, and improve overall fulfillment efficiency. Visit both companies at ProMat 2025 – Kardex at booth S3562 and Paccurate at booth S3362to learn more about the benefits the new partnership brings to intralogistics operations.

As transportation costs continue to rise and industry focus shifts towards smarter packout solutions, this partnership delivers a cost-effective and sustainable fulfillment process for warehouse operations. By leveraging Paccurate’s dynamic cartonization API within Kardex’s Intuitive Picking Assistant and FulfillX execution software, businesses can achieve smarter, more efficient warehouse workflows.

Optimized Packaging Through Seamless Integration

The partnership is powered by a SOFTBOT API integration between Paccurate’s cartonization engine and Kardex’s FulfillX software. When an order is processed, Paccurate’s platform determines the optimal box selection and generates packing instructions in real time, considering dimensions, weight, shipping constraints, and even negotiated rate cards. Kardex’s Intuitive Picking Assistant and FulfillX software then provide visualization for warehouse workers at the AutoStore port, allowing for precise picking and packing.

This integration enables customers to:

  • Reduce void fill and optimize packaging decisions
  • Lower transportation expenses and improve sustainability efforts
  • Streamline picking and packing workflows, reducing inefficiencies and manual labor
  • Enhance the unboxing experience for end customers with consistent, right-sized packaging
