Konecranes’ Nuclear equipment capabilities span from standardized conventional lifting devices to highly complex SUPERSAFE™ single-failure-proof cranes and nuclear fuel handling equipment. Konecranes has a combined portfolio of equipment and services uniquely qualifying them as industry leaders – and they understand how it all fits together.

Konecranes offers heavy capacity and long-span nuclear polar cranes as well as over 150 types of equipment for nuclear fuel transfer. Konecranes’ turbine hall crane is used to maintain large steam turbines. For non-contaminant areas of the plant, Konecranes offers SMARTON® cranes, CXT® cranes, Hevi-Lift wire rope hoists and more conventional equipment, such as jib cranes and CLX chain hoists. The latest evolution of  cranes and equipment  utilize designs that maximize operational capability and  provide features that increase safety and are easy to operate and maintain.

Konecranes makes available an added level of service to help keep their customers’ equipment at optimal levels of safety and productivity. There are Konecranes service centers across the globe that enable them to quickly perform on-site repairs, maintenance and modernizations.
