The EPL-IBM-3X150LED-RT LED light fixture from Larson Electronics is constructed with heavy duty materials and built to withstand the most abusive industrial applications in hazardous areas. This Class 1 Division 1 & 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 I-beam mount explosion proof light fixture produces 37,500 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 450 watts. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and aesthetics. It gives this light excellent durability and resistance to vibrations and impacts. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. This light features a copper free aluminum alloy wire guard that helps protect the lens from accidental damage from machinery and other equipment. This explosion proof LED light fixture is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. The EPL-IBM-3X150LED-RT specially designed I-beam mount allows operators to install this high bay light fixture on existing I-beams via nine pre-drilled holes. After installation, operators can tilt the light 90° in both directions, allowing for precise aiming. This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 volts AC. This fixture is DLC approved for LED quality and energy efficiency for commercial locations and applicable for Class 1 Division 1 work areas, such as tanks and refineries, loading facilities, and other similar environments. Light weight and a low profile make this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier older fixtures and require much less hardware to install.

“This fixture includes a simple mounting bracket for operators looking to install lights on existing I-beams as well as other flat surfaces,” Rob Bresnahan said. “The cast aluminum body in conjunction with the aluminum alloy wire guard lends this fixture well to abusive conditions and serious industrial applications.”
