Eastern Pennsylvania’s American Crane and Equipment Company, manufacturer of cranes, hoists and other material handling equipment, components and parts, proudly announces a holiday food drive partnership with the Greater Berks Food Bank.

The community-minded manufacturer embraces November as a time of giving. For every parts order placed during the month of November, American Crane will be donating a can of food to the Greater Berks Food Bank. For an organization dedicated to feeding over 60,000 people each year, food donations are critical to the Greater Berks Food Bank’s success.

Since 1983, the Greater Berks Food Bank has offered a full network of charitable food programs, providing healthy meals, emergency food supplies, and a food pantry program in addition to supporting specific initiatives for youth and seniors in need.

“We truly value the community we call home,” said Karen Norheim, Executive Vice President at American Crane and Equipment Corporation. “The Greater Berks Food Bank does great work to help those less fortunate, and we’re looking forward to this opportunity to help out.”

American Crane’s online parts store offers a vast inventory to support heavy lifting needs in a variety of industries. Standard and customized hoists, cranes and material handling solutions are just the beginning of their 80,000 piece catalog.

Of the company’s full catalog, 40,000 standard cranes and hoists, rigging items, trolleys, lifting devices, spare parts and specialized products are available online 24 hours a day, including specialized hoists such as:

  •     CM Man Guard Electric Chain Hoist
  •     Coffing JLC Electric Chain Hoist
  •     Coffing LHH Hand Chain Hoist
  •     CM Hurricane Hand Chain Hoist
  •     And more!
