Barcoding, Inc., provider of supply chain efficiency, accuracy and connectivity, announces that it is a winner of Baltimore SmartCEO’s 2015 Corporate Culture Award. Baltimore SmartCEO recognized Barcoding for building a cooperative and innovative work environment that encourages personal and company growth. The Corporate Culture Awards honor companies that foster a creative, collaborative workplace culture that enhances performance and helps sustain a competitive advantage. Whether supporting the Baltimore community through a charitable event, hosting a neighborhood sidewalk barbeque, or holding its annual Executive Forum, Barcoding possesses a unique company culture that empowers employees.

With a “flat” organizational structure – as opposed to a siloed, micro-managed corporate environment – Barcoding provides every employee the opportunity to flourish. As a result, Barcoding has experienced high staff retention rates over the past few years, which translates into overall company success. Shane Snyder, president, Barcoding, Inc., said, “Barcoding considers our employees our biggest resource, so providing an environment where they can thrive professionally and personally is important. When employees feel empowered, they empower the organization as a whole. Our ‘work hard, play hard’ mantra has helped us bring together our ‘SupplyChainGeeks’ and make Barcoding the company it is today.”

Although Barcoding has employees in offices across the country, it makes a point to keep everyone involved. Most recently, Barcoding added Sue Hoese, senior account manager, to its growing staff. With 25 years of experience in sales and marketing, Hoese will help expand the company’s reach in the Central United States by drawing from her deep industry knowledge and personal connections. Hoese began her career with Peak Technologies (now Peak-Ryzex), where she spent 17 years managing major accounts in the Indiana and Illinois territory. After a stint in the healthcare market, Hoese returned to focus on the supply chain and mobile technology industry with Barcoding.

Baltimore SmartCEO will present this award to Barcoding during the Baltimore Corporate Culture Awards ceremony on Dec. 15 at the City Garage in Baltimore, Maryland.
