CLARK Material Handing Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Susan Harmon to the position of director of purchasing, reporting to Chuck Mix, Vice President of Operations. Susan has performed admirably in her role of purchasing manager since rejoining CLARK in September 2012. In her new role, Susan will oversee the following functions at CLARK: Purchasing, Materials Planning for Aftermarket Parts, Parts Price Analysis, and Totalift. Susan has over twenty-seven years of purchasing and materials management experience. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky where she earned a degree in finance. Susan is a Certified Purchasing Manager; she is certified in Lean Manufacturing, and holds APICS certification. Her extensive experience in the forklift industry, including her sixteen years with CLARK, will be valuable to her success in this position.
