CLARK earns “2020 Wave Innovation” award

Coastal Cloud, an affiliate of the Customer Relationship Manager service Salesforce, has recognized CLARK Material Handling Company – a top-ten global manufacturer of forklift trucks and spare parts – as a Coastal Cloud Innovation Award Winner for 2020.

CLARK Material Handling Company received this award in acknowledgment of their continuous efforts to increase productivity and efficiency through a technological and digital transformation. By utilizing the powerful Salesforce platform; as well as its affiliates, CLARK simplifies the user experience while also continuing to provide the highest level of customer service.

Awarding this honor to only two companies each year, Coastal Cloud selected CLARK in recognition of the strides CLARK has made in technological advancements. Through the adoption of Salesforce in partnership with Coastal Cloud, CLARK fulfills the corporate value of Striving for Excellence.

“Throughout our 103-year history, CLARK has led the charge in technological advancement and stands at the forefront of the industry,” said Dennis Lawrence, President & CEO. “Our partnership with Salesforce and Coastal Cloud is the latest example of how CLARK sets the precedent for business management in the material handling industry,” he added.

“Working with Salesforce has made a big difference in terms of our ability to manage incoming orders in a timely manner while continuing to provide the high level of customer service our dealers and customers have come to expect from CLARK. The receipt of this award reminds all that CLARK is “Built to Last” not only in our forklifts but in our ability to stay a step ahead of the technology curve and in our day-to-day
operations,” added Bruce Sizemore, IT Manager.

This recognition, along with the Salesforce certifications the CLARK IT team has earned over the last 18 months since CLARK’s adoption of Salesforce, places CLARK in the best position to lead the industry for years to come.
