CLARK Material Handling Company celebrated a historic 100-year milestone with a week of events at its North American headquarters May 15th thru May 1719th. Guests from around the world gathered to tour company facilities & local landmarks, review new product introductions, and attend the official
Centennial, black tie, dinner.

With over 435 attendees representing more than 26 countries, the participants represented the major
lift truck regions around the world. Hosts for the event included Chairman SH Baik, Vice Chairman SS
Baik and the company’s global CEO group comprised of Dennis Lawrence (CLARK North America), Rolf
Eiten (CLARK Europe), Robert Hammond (CLARK Australia).

Highlights for the week included the release of several new lift truck models, product training breakouts,  tours of CLARK’s Lexington and Louisville facilities and visits to several local attractions.

Wednesday evening was the high point of the week with a black-tie dinner, key note speakers, lifetime
achievement awards and specially prepared videos capturing the companies 100-year history. With Mr.
Scott Johnson VP Sales and Marketing CLARK Lexington as the master of ceremonies he brought life and energy to the proceedings. Chairman Baik proudly introduced the third generation of his family who will be working at CLARK, validating the company’s future ownership team. Attendees were treated a video detailing the company’s history and contributions to the material handling industry (this video is now available for viewing at clarkmhc.com). Several individuals were recognized for life time achievement in the material handling industry and presented with CLARK’s “Ambassador Emeritus” recognition.

Dennis Lawrence, President and CEO of CLARK North America commented, “We are so proud to have
been a part of this celebration. CLARK is such a recognized brand around the world and to be able to
have our global dealers and affiliates come to Lexington and commemorate this occasion is very
rewarding. Our teams around the world worked very closely together to ensure that our program was
balanced and reflected the diverse dealer network we have. The hours of planning that went into this
event paid dividends with a flawless week of celebrations.”
