Crown Equipment Corporation recently opened a Crown Lift Trucks sales and service location in southern New England. The facility, located at 12 Commercial Way in East Providence, Rhode Island, was previously occupied by Crellin Handling Equipment Inc. for more than 40 years. An additional facility, located at 6 Viking Road in Webster, Massachusetts, will serve as a satellite location in supporting the southern New England market.

John Rosa, northeast region general manager, Crown Lift Trucks, said, “Crellin Handling Equipment Inc. and owner Richard Crellin have a long history of providing quality customer service in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts. We look forward to working with our customers to help ensure they have quick, complete access to the products, service and training they need to keep their businesses running smoothly.”

The East Providence and Webster facilities collectively feature a comprehensive inventory of parts, a full-service maintenance department, battery and charger service and rental fleets. This marks Crown’s third sales and service location to open in 2015. Earlier this year, Crown opened facilities near Richmond, Virginia and Akron, Ohio.
