Felling Trailers implements weekend shift

Felling Trailers implemented a weekend shift in mid-March to increase production, decrease lead time and offer this alternative work schedule at its Sauk Centre, MN location. “In an effort to level load our capacity in particular areas and decrease lead time, we added a weekend shift,” stated Paul Radjenovich, vice president of operations. Felling Trailers’ total employment is over 250, which is a company record after nearly 40 years in business.  In addition to receiving a shift premium, Felling Trailers’ weekend shift works 36 hours Friday through Sunday but gets paid for 40 hours of work.
