Ideal Industries, Inc. has promoted John Dukes to the position of National Account Manager for the IDEAL US Electrical Division, effective July 16. An IDEAL veteran of 17 years, Dukes was previously senior area sales manager for the Chicago region. In his new position he will be responsible for the national relationship and programs for WESCO, Rexel, Crescent and Sonepar. 

Terry Stevens, vice president of sales, IDEAL North American Electrical Division, made the announcement: “John has demonstrated the ability to develop enduring end-user and distributor relationships. His experience with both our products and our customers will provide him with a strong foundation as he transitions to his new role. Prior to joining IDEAL, Dukes held several positions of increasing responsibility in the consumer electronics field. He earned a BA Degree in Mass Communications/Marketing from Western Illinois University.
