Mark-it Express, a logistics management company, has been named to Crain’s 2016 Chicago Fast 50 list. Crain’s list recognizes Chicago-based businesses, both public and private, that sustained remarkable and verifiable revenue gains over a five-year period. Mark-it Express is one of only four transportation companies named to the 2016 Chicago Fast 50. 

Mark-it Express was founded in 2009 as a third party logistics company by Tony Apa and Justin Nelson, two highly respected and experienced transportation and supply chain management professionals. “We are honored to be recognized as one of the Crain Chicago Fast 50 companies. Always planning ahead, Tony Apa turned to his alma mater, Western Michigan University (WMU) to prepare for future growth. Mark-it Express has established an entry-level training program and recruiting partnership with WMU’s top-ranked integrated supply chain management program. 

In addition to Crain’s 2016 Chicago Fast 50, Mark-it Express received an Inc. 5000 ranking as one of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The company also achieved The National Association of Small Trucking Companies “Best Broker” status, which represents the top 5% of all brokers in the U.S.
