Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America Corrugating Machinery Division expands management team

The Corrugating Machinery Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America is pleased to announce the expansion of its management team in order to provide enhanced technical and parts services to its growing customer base.

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America (MHIA) is one of the leading suppliers of Corrugating and Box Making machinery in the industry. Entire MHIA team experts possess more than 40 years of collective experience in servicing and maintaining Corrugating and Box Making machinery.

Mike Keidel

Mike Keidel has been promoted to a Senior Manager, Engineering, leading the company’s engineering department. The 30-year industry veteran has spent his entire career with MHIA Corrugating Machinery Division in increasingly responsible engineering positions, including Project Engineer, Manager Engineering Group, and most recently, as Operations Manager/Parts Sales Manager. Keidel earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.

Sam Karavedas

Sam Karavedas joined MHIA in May 2019 as a Parts Sales Manager and will be leading the parts sales department in that capacity to ensure the timely delivery of parts to customers. His 20-year career began at the Baltimore outpost of Motion Industries, a leading global industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical and industrial automation. While at Motion Industries,Karavedas served as Inventory Control/Brand Services Coordinator, Distribution Center Warehouse Manager, and Account Representative.

Mike’s three decades of corrugated industry experience here at MHIA gives him great insight in how to support our customers through engineering,” said Masaaki Matsumoto, General Manager, MHIA Corrugating Machinery Division. “Furthermore, Sam brings a wealth of experience in the optimized delivery of parts in the industrial field. We look forward to enhancing the customer’s experience with this seasoned new management team.”
