Purolator International, provider of cross-border logistics between the U.S. and Canada, is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruce Roberts as Western District Sales Manager.  Roberts will be responsible for the growth of Purolator International within the Western district of the U.S., overseeing branch offices in Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix and San Diego.  Roberts will be based in the Los Angeles office.

Roberts has more than 20 years of experience leading sales and operations teams in the transportation and logistics industry.  He has worked at Panther Expedited Services, AFC Worldwide Express and most recently as a principle at the Los Angeles based BCG Advisory Group, where he consulted with middle market businesses in the transportation and logistics sectors.

“Bruce is a welcome addition to our strong sales team,” said Paul Jasko, District Manager, Purolator International.  “He has a proven track record of successfully managing large teams, developing new lines of business, and creating strategic alliances, which will support Purolator’s growth in the region.”

“Purolator is renowned in the industry for its expertise in international logistics,” said Roberts.  “I’m excited for the opportunity to lead the western sales teams, and working with customers and prospects to make their supply chains a competitive advantage. With our proven experience in cross-border customs and the resources of Canada’s largest, most respected network, we are uniquely positioned to help U.S. businesses looking to reach the Canadian marketplace.”

Roberts earned his Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and completed postgraduate work at the USC Marshall School of Business.  He is a member of the Transportation Marketing & Sales Association and a board member of the Los Angeles Air Cargo Association. A resident of Westlake Village, Calif., Bruce enjoys spending time with his family, spending time outdoors, and is an avid UCLA fan.
