Purolator International is pleased to announce the appointment of David Davis as Eastern district sales manager. Davis will be responsible for the growth of Purolator International within the Eastern district of the U.S., overseeing branch offices in New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Buffalo, Baltimore and Newark. Davis will be based in the Philadelphia office.
Davis has over 15 years of sales experience in the industry, spending most of that time with Forward Air, Inc., in Folcroft, Penn. As director of sales, he managed the Northeast regional sales team, where he trained and led 15 branch managers who were responsible for generating $12 million in annual revenue.
“David is a proven leader in the industry that delivers results,” said Frank Jacketti, District Manager, Purolator International. “We’re happy to have him on board, working with our branch managers to support the growth of Purolator’s market share in the district.”
Davis will be responsible for driving new sales and helping to maintain and grow Purolator’s existing customers in the region. “I look forward to using my industry experience to demonstrate the value of Purolator’s products and services, as the established leader in helping U.S. businesses ship to, from and within Canada.” said Davis.
Davis is a graduate of Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania. A resident of Havertown, PA, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, mountain biking and is an avid San Diego Chargers fan.
