Shoppa’s Material Handling welcomes new director of national accounts

Shoppa’s Material Handling is proud to announce Bob Bosworth as Shoppa’s new director of national accounts. In his 28-year career with Toyota, Bob was the former vice president of sales & marketing at Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A. Bob was responsible for negotiating contracts on behalf of TMHU and dealers with customers throughout North America. He understands customer needs and expectations, industry trends and knows how to win a deal.

In his new role at Shoppa’s Material Handling, Bosworth will be responsible for the development of national account growth and improving support services for existing national account customers.

“My goal is to have Shoppa’s Material Handling recognized as a world-class national accounts and support team leader for all things material handling,” Bosworth said. “I look forward to getting to know our associates, our customers and our processes so we can align our objectives and make sure our goals are achievable.”

Bob noted that he thinks of himself as a coach not a manager. He believes the best solutions are a result of a team collaborative effort.

“Shoppa’s Material Handling continues to grow and improve our leadership team,” said Jim Shoppa, President. “There is no better way to improve our team than to bring the depth and wisdom of the world-renowned Toyota culture in-house in the form of Bob Bosworth.  Adding Bob’s level of expertise and experience to our dealership continues to elevate our team to new heights.”

Bosworth holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University. He resides in the DFW metroplex with his wife, Janice.  Bob enjoys being close to his three adult children and five grandchildren with more on the way. In his spare time, he plays golf, hunts, fishes and is learning guitar.  Bosworth says he is happy to get back to his roots in North Texas.
