stow Group expands global presence with a new production facility in the USA

Listen to this article

stow Group has announced the upcoming opening of a new production facility in the United States. This strategic expansion reflects stow Group’s commitment to meeting the increasing demand for cutting-edge warehouse solutions in the rapidly evolving North American material handling market.

On the back of a successful commercial ramp-up for stow and Movu Robotics in North America over recent years and in light of continued strong demand for stow and Movu’s warehouse solutions, the new US-based production facility allows stow to create a structural footprint in North America close to its fast-growing customer base.

Meeting growing market needs

The North American warehouse solutions industry is poised for further growth, driven by the acceleration of e-commerce, continuously changing supply chain trends, and the increasing need for high-density and automated storage solutions. By establishing a local production footprint, stow Group establishes a long term commitment to its North American customer base, offering locally produced, innovative warehouse solutions while ensuring high-quality service levels and optimized logistics.

Jos De Vuyst, CEO of stow Group, emphasizes the strategic importance of this investment: “This new production facility will complement stow and Movu Robotics’ U.S. headquarters in Romeoville, Illinois, near Chicago, further strengthening the company’s presence and support network in North America and bringing us closer to our customer.” He adds: “Expanding our production footprint in the United States is a key milestone for stow Group. This new facility will allow us to serve our customers faster, enhance our local partnerships, and continue our commitment to innovation and sustainability. The new factory is expected to begin operations in 2026 and will support both existing and new customers across North America.”
