Barcoding, Inc. announces the addition of Chase Sowden, supply chain architect, to its team. A Six Sigma Black Belt with more than 20 years of experience, Sowden will help Barcoding create and deliver holistic, end-to-end solutions that add value to clients’ supply chains. In this position, he is tasked with analyzing how to better Barcoding’s current and potential clients’ operations with a blend of mobile technologies.

Shane Snyder, president, Barcoding, Inc., said, “As Barcoding continues to grow and add more enterprise clients, we saw the need to bring on a specialist in supply chain architecture to take our solutions to the next level. Chase Sowden will help us not only deliver optimal supply chain solutions, but also ensure that we are acting in our clients’ best interest to make them more efficient, accurate and connected. On behalf of Barcoding, I welcome Chase to our team.”

Previously, Sowden served as the chief technology officer (CTO) for Savant Software, Inc., where he oversaw all aspects of strategic IT planning, implementation, internal infrastructure, and other global IT initiatives. Prior to Savant, Sowden spent five years as VP of technology for TZA and held other C-level positions with Pfastship Worldwide Logistics and ConnectTec. Along with his Six Sigma Black Belt, Sowden possesses a PMP certification and is an Agile Scrum Master. Sowden’s experience spans almost every vertical industry, with a focus on manufacturing and distributing.

“I believe that any solution is a three-legged stool, and the legs are people, processes, and technology,” Sowden said. “Without one of these pieces, the client is set up for failure. I plan to bring this ideology to Barcoding and apply it as I help architect solutions that drive revenue growth, enhance efficiency, and increase competitive advantage.”

In addition to Sowden, Barcoding has hired Kenneth Robinson as a support specialist. An IT professional with more than 10 years of customer service experience, Robinson will enhance Barcoding’s Professional Services Division as he troubleshoots and develops technical solutions and procedures for servicing clients’ software, hardware, and system setups.
